Automated Editorial Workflow
This suite of tools is a project developed with entremonde to rigorously automate every stage of the editorial workflow — from manuscript preparation to the final export of publications.
To achieve this, we have created cloud applications and scripts to automate publishing with Adobe InDesign. These tools are described here, will be available by subscription on our upcoming cloud service, and the source code will be freely distributed on GitHub under the MIT License and the AGPL License.

Copy Preparation and Bibliography Management
Preparo is a Markdown editor designed for preparing texts before book layout or EPUB export. It allows you to convert, structure, and enrich manuscripts, automatically generating Markdown files, metadata, and bibliographic data needed for the editorial workflow. [In development]
Refero is an intuitive web client for Zotero, designed for simplified and flexible library management. It stands out with advanced customization and support for additional fields, such as original publication dates, exhibition catalog dates, and any other custom-defined fields. [In development]
AutomaticBook Suite
- BookCreator is an advanced Adobe InDesign script that automates the entire book creation process from templates. It can automatically import Markdown content and inject it into your generated book, along with variables for title pages, headers, or credits. [Coming soon]
- Markdown-Import automatically transforms a Markdown file into a styled InDesign document ready for layout. It replaces Markdown tags with the corresponding paragraph and character styles, and converts Markdown footnotes into genuine InDesign footnotes.
- SuperScript is an InDesign script that automates typographic correction for French, speeding up document preparation and ensuring cleaner layouts. [Coming soon]
- Inspectora is a tool designed to automatically detect visual errors before final export (hyphenation, orphaned titles, split footnotes, layout gaps, misplaced or incorrect quotation marks). [In development]
